The PATCH seminar is a monthly daylong Philadelphia Area Topology/Contact/Hyperbolic Mathematics seminar. This Friday, guest speakers are Eriko Hironaka, Florida State and Dusa McDuff, Barnard.

Morning Background talks are held in Park 337.

  • 10–11 a.m. Introduction to Symplectic Embeddings, Dusa McDuff
  • 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Connectedness of Moduli and Deformation Spaces for Rational Maps I, Eriko Hironaka

Afternoon talks are held in Park 300.

  • 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. The Ellipsoidal Capacity Function for the Ball and Related Target Spaces, Dusa McDuff
  • 4–5 p.m. Connectedness of Moduli and Deformation Spaces for Rational Maps II, Eriko Hironaka
