Whether it's participating in the Tri-Co Philly Program, taking a class trip to the Art Museum, or going into the city for a concert or show, exploring everything the Philadelphia region has to offer is going to be a whole lot easier for 草榴成人社区 students this academic year.
Beginning in September, full-time 草榴成人社区 students can participate in SEPTA鈥檚 Key Advantage UPass Program. Students will receive a free SEPTA Key Card that can be used anywhere on SEPTA鈥檚 network of subways, buses, trolleys, and regional rail lines during the fall and spring semesters 鈥 September through December and February through May. During those months, the pass will be valid at all times and on all services provided by SEPTA, with a 240-ride limit per month (8 rides per day). During off months 鈥 January, June, July, and August 鈥 Key Cards will still be active, but students will need to load their own funds if they wish to use them.
"As our College believes in access and equity, we are thrilled to partner with SEPTA to provide equal opportunity for our students to connect with the city, learn, grow, and enhance their academic and co-curricular pursuits," says Karlene Burrell-McRae, dean of the undergraduate college.
草榴成人社区 is the second higher education institution to participate in the SEPTA Key Advantage UPass program, joining Swarthmore College, which joined the program last August.
鈥淲e are excited to extend the benefits of SEPTA Key Advantage to students at 草榴成人社区,鈥 says SEPTA CEO and General Manager Leslie S. Richards. 鈥淭his program has made it easier and less expensive for students to travel to destinations across the region.鈥
