Team Bios

Brooke H. Jones | Chief Investment Officer
Brooke is the Chief Investment Officer at ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø and is responsible for oversight of the endowment. She also serves on boards for the Doris Duke Foundation, MITIMCo, CBI, the Brooklyn Public Library, and The Baupost Group. Brooke mentors for Accel-CIO, supporting diverse talent in CIO roles. She holds an MBA from Stanford and dual degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children and enjoys running and cooking.

Gene Kim | Director of Investments
Gene joined ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø in May 2021 to lead the endowment’s Marketables effort, overseeing public equity strategies and diversifying exposures. Previously, he worked as an equity analyst at Adakin Capital, PRINCo, and Behrman Capital. Gene took a 9-month career break to study Korean at Yonsei University in Seoul. He holds an AB in Economics from Princeton and is a CFA charterholder. After 15 years in NYC, Gene returned to New Jersey, where he enjoys cooking and raising his son and daughter.

Ashini Ganesalingam | Associate Director of Investments
Ashini joined ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø’s Investment Office in May 2024 to focus on private investments, including private equity, real assets, and real estate. She manages existing relationships and sources new investment opportunities. Previously, she was a Senior Associate at MLC Asset Management in Australia, specializing in private equity and co-investments in North America and Europe. She also worked at Aksia, conducting due diligence across alternative investments. Ashini holds a BA in Applied Economics from Cornell and enjoys rock climbing and playing the veena.

Brennan Saul | Investment Analyst
Brennan joined ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø in August 2023 as an Analyst, researching global public equity and diversifying strategies, including Equity Long/Short and Public Credit. He also contributes to research on Commercial Real Estate credit strategies. Previously, Brennan was an Investment Analyst at Cambridge Associates in Dallas, focusing on Sustainable and Impact Investments. He holds a BA in Economics from Wake Forest University, graduating summa cum laude. A Chicago sports and Tottenham Hotspur fan, Brennan enjoys soccer, cooking with friends, and exploring local restaurants.

Grace Vlaha | Operations Analyst
Grace joined the Investment Office as an Operations Analyst in May 2023, overseeing data integrity, performance reporting, and systems development (RMS and IBOR). Previously, she was an Investment Analyst at a NYC-based Family Foundation, focusing on the Consumer/Retail sector. Grace also has experience in Executive Administration and Human Capital Management at a Family Office. She graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Business Management from The King’s College. Outside of work, Grace teaches yoga, travels, hikes, and tutors SAT Math for New York Cares.

Clayton Okaly | Office Manager, Executive Assistant
Clayton joined ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø in 2023 and leads office admin, community building, and supporting the senior team with calendar and travel management. With a background in the performing arts and arts administration, Clayton comes from over a decade-long career as an opera singer, working in admin for leading artist management companies, other nonprofits, as well as teaching yoga throughout NYC. Clayton is also a quiltmaker whose work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, as well a bit closer to ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø’s campus at the Mainline Arts Center in Haverford, PA.
